There are two groups. Among recent qualifiers, a lot are on FT (plus one notorious lurker) and I can't think of any who are not. The other group, once they get their status, start to ease off on flying, stop earning so many Avios and GUFs (TPs) and gently fade away..... If you don't soak in a lot of TPs and Avios, even though they aren't needed for qualification, then the benefits of GGLfl are of questionable value.
