MEL have an express lane for departures and are a *G Gold Track airport.

The problem at MEL is arrivals. The airport is such a complete cluster that on both my trips earlier in the year it was 45 - 50 mins to get out through customs / biosecurity (wait time in the queue with no checked luggage). Things are apparently better now but there are still random days with long delays.
