I also bought Finnair light biz fare ticket directly with Finnair, holding OW Emerald with BA. First few months all was good as I could select seat free of charge. But a week ago I've noticed that when checked seats it showed me a price to change. So I've checked and somehow the Frequent flyer number was changed from BA to Finnair (as I also have a number with AY but no status). Therefore, I've changed the number under my booking, thought that will fix the issue. But nothing much changed, and now I cannot even see the seat map... I just trust I can solve this with an agent prior to my flight as I don't wanna argue at check-in desk about the OW status benefits...I mainly wanna use these OW Emerald benefits: free seat selection, checked baggage, lounge access.
