I am newly minted Gold Guest for Life after earning 100,000 Tier Points with the BA Executive Club.

So far the experience has been mixed.

- The staff on the flight from JFK and in the JFK lounge acknowledged the milestore, and the staff produced cake from the Soho Lounge for me:

- They had told the onboard crew ahead of time and they also congratulated me.
- No new card has arrived despite being shown as issued on the website. Not too worried about this in these days of virtual cards
- Emails to nominate people to status have been received and I have those people already identified.
