Overall, yes, convenient for public transit, especially JFK via E train.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Classic 1 King, received 1 King Junior Suite Skyline View (23rd Floor)

Two separate reservations, 1 night each, no problem linking them to avoid checkout.

How are the rooms?
Nice, but not well insulated for noise. We had to buy earplugs to drown out the NYC sirens and honking at night.

How is the exec. lounge?
n/a, buffet breakfast at The Stinger restaurant. Average selection, nothing exciting.

Did you receive a welcome gift?
Yes, basic fruit platter, received a new one for the 2nd night reservation.

How was the minibar?
Fully Stocked

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- Nice Room
- Convenient to public transit
- Able to apply F&B rewards in app
- Ambassador desk unofficially offered to cover room service breakfast, but we stuck to buffet.
- Late checkout proactivley offered.

Bad
- Wait times at breakfast, I'd recommend making a reservation on OpenTable to ensure no wait.
- Had some issues with F&B credits due to separate 1 night reservations, 1st nights bill was closed before I woke up and couldn't apply to the previous evening's dinner. Ultimately it was resolved at checkout, but the person at the Amb desk on our first attempt to fix was unwilling to assist.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Good, we used our 70k cert first night, 78k points the second night, used the 80% points purchase bonus to top off and beat the cash price.

Would you return?
Yes, but we might try the IC NYC Barclay before returning.
