It is possible, those non renovated 1 bedroom suites are all at the Masquerade tower, keep in mind Masquerade tower elevators are quite far away almost by the Kiss mini golf.

I see no reason to take one of those non renovated suite as 1. The renovated rooms are quite sufficient since room size is already bigger than all standard rooms on the strip no matter Caesars or MGM properties 2. The non renovated suites are the ones that gave Rio the bad reputation, stains on carpet, stains on sofa, really worn furnishings, old mattress, strange walk thru closet instead of walk in closet, etc. Look up YouTube there are tons of videos on that include some from the famous local vegas YouTubers
