In the US with TSA pre-check, I put my laptop into the carry on spinner, since don't use a laptop on the plane and it saves me from having to carry it. But, if I had to take my laptop out at SIN, MNL, CEB and BKK, I figured it will be better just to use the clamshell backpack so I can leave laptop on the backpack. Do you need to take laptop out of the bag at SIN, MNL, CEB and BKK?
In BKK, MNL and Cebu they ask you not only to take your laptop but also your belt. In BKK even a power bank has to be taken out. Didn't have to do it in MNL or CEB this time. I do not know about SIN as have not been there for a long time.
