You are correct, though I note my own negative experience one time when someone in a row 2 aisle seat got really annoyed and verbally belligerent when I, in 1F, stepped into the aisle to get my bag and get off ahead of him.

Personally I would pick 1A or 1F on this flight. I don’t usually need access to my laptop bag in flight.
