1F doesn't have the best leg room and you will have to stow you personal item up top, but you have the benefit of no one in front of you. I personally like 2F the best.

Without knowing the length of your flight. You may or may not get a pre-takeoff beverage depending mostly on the mood of the flight attendants. If it is a short flight you will get drink service after takeoff plus a selection of snacks. If it is a longer flight you should get your choice of breakfast, lunch, or dinner based on departure time. Otherwise, you will mostly get a bigger seat and a little better service from the FA's.

One of my favorite parts about the 737-800 first seat is there is a little storage cubby under one of your arms that will hold a phone, table, or small laptop. Unless you are really looking it is easy to miss.

As much as people like to complain about first sometimes, it is much better than coach. Enjoy your flight.
