Paid partner business class, have to pay for seat selection?
I have a business class flight book from LAX-MAD via AA. I have OWS via Alaska but my AA Number is my booking. Is it normal to have to pay for seat selection on a paid business class fare via partner? I guess I could try to attach my AS status if that would make a difference. Oddly I was able to pick seats for my MAD-MXP segment without a problem. Iberia website is maddening...
