Agreed. The technology advantage has long passed at AA. DL seems to be on the cutting edge, although its regional subsidiary ComAir could use some IT support as we all witnessed over X-Mas. For instance, I have always wondered why they bury the AA flight information in Sabre. It often takes a dozen keystrokes and a good 30-45 seconds for a gate agent to check the status of a connection. I have leaned over the counter to see what the user interface (front-end) looks like and it seems like an old DOS screen from the 80s -- not very user friendly.
