Just an update on ATMs in Europe. We have never had a problem using our ATM/Visa card to withdraw francs in France or pounds in London and even in Hong Kong. But this trip...

First machine we tried in MUC airport said "wrong pin number"...tried a different machine and got Euros no problem.

In Rome, withdrew Euros 3 times with no problems from 3 different places.

Get to Paris and no machine works. We have a Visa Debit/Atm card issued by our credit union that we have used for years over several trips here but something has changed and now we only get the "wrong pin number" error message...have tried nearly every ATM we have come across.

Very frustrating. Off to get a cash advance for our last 2 days in Paris tomorrow.
