Outgoing flight was changed 2 weeks before because 748 FRA - HND was cancelled on all Monday flights in Dec. and we got rebooked to MUC- HND on A350 without F class
Return HND- FRA went ahead and flight in F on 748 was a fantastic experience ( only 4 pax !! ) with excellent cabincrew .
We hoped for 2024 that MUC-BKK in Dec. 2024 would be a breeze for upgrade to F but it seems more people go to BKK than HND in Dec . even if one expects coach and PE to be booked solid with less C and F as business meetings slow down in Dec...
After being waitlisted since early Jan, upgrade from C to F on both flights ( MUC-BKK and back ) in Dec. finally cleared

BKK - MUC cleared last Wednesday , MUC- BKK cleared today .
All upgrades at 85000 miles each so we'll finally manage to fly F in A380 : outgoing in row 2 , return in row 1 middle seats as we do not know which seat ( row 1 or 2 ) should be preferred and seatguru does not seem to have preferred row either ....
