The $199 F fares were a sign of the impending cancellation in 2019, then they tried SAN-STL. Unfortunately, neither was sustainable at the time. I assume they regularly assess the viability, though, as I know when I fly SEA-STL, I often see many people who came up from Portland and Bend.
