If time is really of the essence I suggest sitting in 2nd/3rd carriage from front on the Piccadilly line to get through the barriers quickly. I find those in the know (airport staff etc) tend to aim for the furthest lift from the tube barriers as most tourists try to squeeze into the first 1-2 lifts, holding up the lifts.
