1) Trying to book BOM-JFK for mid-Sept. Is it still 30 days out for Etihad so perhaps best to start checking mid-Aug?
2) Also is it still worthwhile calling the ANZ/NZ call centers or is availability on the aa.com website (advanced search) reliable now?

As a test, I did see some J awards 10 days out from now but they were 2-stop. Hopefully I can snag a 1-stop J award in Sept
