Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes, this is my second stay in as many months and it is fine.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked the cheapest entry level on points and was upgraded again to a suite on the top floor with a balcony and canal view, a multilevel upgrade.
How are the rooms? Comfortable bed, sofa with coffee table and stool, desk and chair. Balcony with two chairs and a coffee table. Shower room with Urban Skincare amenities.
How is the exec. lounge? NA
What was good and what was bad? Good - quite close to Gare du Nord, handy for my 9am train back to Blighty. Nice upgrade. Lovely glass of red for my welcome drink which I took on the outdoor terrace on the first floor, overlooking the canal.
Bad - nothing.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? My room was 29,000 points for the night. For comparison IC and Kimpton were both 120,000! Rack rate on the back of the door is €590, I wouldn’t pay that. Have booked again for August during the Olympics.
