Two flights in the last two days and both mentioned the Amex card.

The announcement that always makes me roll my eyes is the “if there’s anything we can do to make your flight more comfortable…”. It’s not too bad hearing that in F or J where there are things that can be done to make someone more comfortable. But in my younger years, traveling in the cheap seats at the back of the bus, to hear that as you were packed into the tiniest space for 11 hours was ridiculous. Those people are the least comfortable and there is almost nothing that can be done, once on the plane, to make their journey more comfortable. I once contemplated asking what exactly they had at their disposal to make a long haul WT flight more comfortable and if there is anything they can do, why hadn’t it been done already. But ii know they were just saying what they’ve been told to say.
