You may but it will be troublesome. It took around 4 hrs to do so, especially if you are on a short connecting time flight.
You must perform it at the HKG entry transfer desk.
If No,
sorry you have to fly, re-book or pay no-show fee and penalty (because you're eligible to your destination, not denied by the destination's border control.)
