I regularly do 40-50mins CWL>AMS and onwards including passport control. Trick is only having hand luggage as frequently my bags weren’t as fast as I was, and the short connection lane (plus gold helps with being towards the front of the first flight for speedy disembarkation). There used to be a lane on the far right next to the privium lane that was always quiet and unquestioned but I think this loophole has been recently closed.

Sometimes even manage a swift glass in the lounge on the way to my next cheese sandwich!
