Thanks again everyone. Got rebooked and ended up getting a $700 credit back putting me back to my original target ticket price mentioned in this thread earlier in the month. Agent stumped; fare can not be found

I tried pushing for rerouting my outbound flight but the agent had been so cordial and helpful I let him slide and may try again on another day.
