hotels.com and expedia.co.uk are "merging" under the "OneKey" arrangement. As a heavy Expedia user it would be nice to earn extra Avios. I am curios to see what happens.

As ba.com pricing becomes beyond unreasonable (for Japan at least), a larger proportion of my flights are now expedia booking (just grabbed a £280 single with QR from Japan in Y, connecting with Jeju Air)), something that would cost me perhaps 5x (or more) booking with BA or JAL. (that is later this August, so quite busy season)

Also, I had far less issues cancelling flights with Expedia than BA (don't need to call for cash refunds and credit amex within just a few days).
