On the Eurostar (London to Paris) they used to achieve something similar in the least elegant way possible: their desserts were all constructed to have something gluey on the bottom, so they were stuck to the plate. QR’s solution is a million times more elegant!
Yes! I noticed this since years ago and think its cool, and this is in mugs, glasses, plates, etc..
