On the RTW Star alliance website the price is much higher than what ITA matrix gave me. As a result I played around and added a couple of stopovers which didn't change the price and allow me to visit friends (AMS SFO AKL NSN ZQN SYD SIN BKK HKG AMS is the same price as AMS-SFO-AKL plus SYD-SIN-AMS)..
I've got the extended trip booked for now at 7,4k€in business (cancellable for €150) for Nov15th 2024. Do you think I can get a better fare booking via an OTA than *A website?
Should I change the starting point? I can easily leave from AMS, DUS, BRU...even FRA (I've done ARL and ATH for that in the past as well but requires another flight)...
