Unfortunately it's not as simple as the OP mentions. The TPs and mileage earned has some relation to the dollar fare paid too, not just the fare type and location.

For example if you book HKG-TPE-HKG on 01 and 08 Feb you on Economy Flex you get a fare of $4000 with 15 points for outbound and 20 points for inbound.

If you book the same for departure in Feb and return in May you get a fare of $6850 with 25 points for outbound and 25 points for inbound.

While the table is illustrative of some combinations, unfortunately it is not comprehensive and things do basically change according not only to distance and fare type, but also how much you actually pay.
