Hi, I am silver with virgin Atlantic which I believe equates to sky team elite? If so, does that mean I get benefits with an upcoming Air France booking I have?

if so, do these benefits apply to everyone on my booking or just for me? Priority boarding and check in etc

I also read this may include free checked luggage. Is this true? And if so how do I go about adding that to my booking?
