Very niche question, but also wondering whether something along the likes of mood lighting will be included in this retrofit? like the G-EUPx and G-EUOx A319s have - since the ex-bmi A319s do not have this feature.
Regardless, I'm very happy to see this change. It seems the A319 is still relevant in BA's future plans, and this retrofit confirms that these aircraft are likely to stay for the remainder of the 2020s.
Can we assume that these eight 319s are going to be the last of them? In other words are the 21 which are NOT being refitted likely to be retired in the coming years? I know plans have changed for the 319s since the Pandemic and they are proving more useful than was expected back in 2019.
