flying tomorrow on Ba Shortual (on a flight which should be long haul but that's a different whinge)
For reasons of double TP earning, I'm in Club, wife (Silver) and toddler in ET. I have carefully selected and then amended seats such that they would be in row behind me. Just gone to check in to find they have been moved to the PENULTIMATE ROW in the aircraft. I assume the curtain has moved, but surely you move everyone back a few rows not just dislocate those being displaced? Obviously not happy, and wife is now even more stressed about solo parenting on a 6hr flight (having previously assured her I would be a few feet away). Any reason why BA would 'downgrade' a silver member with child from a decent seat to a rubbish one. What arguments (without getting DYKWIA) do I need at checkin desk tomorrow morning?
Rather (very) angry at BA right now.
