Where do you intend to stay the night of your arrival in Albuquerque? If you’re planning on staying at one of the many lodgings near the airport, I’d say the lowest stress option would be to take the hotel shuttle/Uber upon arrival, get a good night’s sleep, then make your way to the Rental Car Center the next morning when everyone is open. Any property with a shuttle will take you back to the terminal in the morning where you can get the bus to the RCC and many of them will take you to the RCC directly on request.
