I may be an outlier, but I would not say it is marginal, just think about the food tray I don’t want to have too near me (so I tend to use the middle seat) and all my documents. So it’s actually a pretty big benefit for me. (But no doubt it is even more valuable in eco.)

Just to add to the datapoint: on the flight were at least 2 other HONs, so there is a lottery aspect here too.
