If it nailed on that the 787-9's will be done before the A380's? I ask, as I read an article the other day about the upcoming new First which will be launching on the A380 when it's refurbed. This would suggest the A380's will be refurbed before the arrival of the 777X. Of course, this could still be the case but surely the 777-X will be here before 2027?
It would certainly make sense for the A380's to be done soonest but my concern would be their reliability. Its a big capital spend for a sub-fleet that frankly isnt quite fit for purpose from an engineering perspective. They probably first need to absolutely commit to the type remaining in operation to justify the capex.
