If rebooked on a flight scheduled to depart more than 1 hour earlier, you're due full compensation i.e. £220.
The cancellation email offered an alternative flight 5 mins earlier than the cancelled flight, but from a different airport - EDI - rather than GLA. Since I was under the constraints that day that I had to fly from GLA and into LHR, as per the cancelled flight, the only choice which worked for me out of those available was the flight BA1499 GLA-LHR at 1335, which was 2h 10m before the cancelled flight. As I understand it, I am perhaps due compensation.
