At DFW by far the most likely thing is that the door to the upper deck will open first. If you are in 1A you can ask the IFM if it’s OK to go up the stairs and get out via the forward CW cabin which would be quickest. They will almost certainly say yes IME. I was once told it is called the “Captains of Industry” way to exit! Not much of an industrialist myself, mind.
If you would rather wait for the downstairs door then it will most likely be L2 behind the F cabin that will open next. They will almost always (but sadly not guaranteed) hold the downstairs CW cabin back while you exit. In general by the time you get off all of the passengers upstairs will already have exited.
They eventually connect L1 and on one occasion I can remember this happened first but that is very rare.
