The original booking was done online and the EXST was booked later by phone with an agent. The PNRs should be linked. Flight is non stop domestic. I'm just trying to know what to expect at the airport in order to minimize any hassle factors for my vision impaired spouse. I will report back with what actually happens.
Reporting back. Online check in was not available and had to see an agent. No issues getting a boarding pass. I informed the gate agent of the EXST. He looked it up by seat numbers and said he would take are of it. Interestingly he did not scan the EXST boarding pass, only the regular one. All in all it was smooth and went well. Would do it again.
