We just paid for the flights from Wilson to the resort airstrip two weeks ago.
I hope the resort would help out people getting refunds from the airlines.

Hoping this data point might help others..
-I wrote in to AirKenya requesting to cancel my flight for a refund due to the floods on May 3rd.
-I received a response on May 5th saying they'd honor the refund minus 5% processing fee and that it would take about 45 days to process
-The customer service agent never responded with confirmation or acknowledgement so I followed up on May 28th
-Customer service agent responded that refund should take a week
-Received my refund today on June 4th less the 5%
