Not really a catch - my understanding of how this works is that topcashback is a referral channel for merchants. They get a commission from sales made from their links. Their business model is to share a part of those commissions with the consumer.

I clicked the big button on their website which takes you to the Hilton "current offers" page. I logged in and made my booking. Prices were identical, logged in to HHonors account or not. No email confirmation from TopCashBack, but that may be as expected. Hopefully the cookies do their job.
As I mentioned in the 2nd post, the key is to check the prices without having gone through the topcashback link first, not whether or not you're logged into your Hilton account.
Also, I always get an email from topcashback saying "your purchase has been logged."
