JM Marriott Masai Mara and Al Maha
we have 7 nights on the ground for the trip in the first week of Sept this year. currently hold a 4-night reservation at JM, and a 3-night at Al Maha near Dubai, all reservations are in Marriott points. worried we will get bored at JM Masai Mara after a couple of nights, thinking of cutting off one night from Masai Mara, to have 4 nights at Dubai, two nights at Al Maha, and two nights at a city center hotel. what do you guys think? we are a H/W couple in our late 50s if it does make a difference.
Two nights only really gives you one day of game drives, there might be quite a bit of animals you might not get to see. While they try to keep track of where the animals are, the pesky thing about free roaming animals is that you never really know. Of course I don't know your boredom threshold, and what you expect from a safari lodge, but I'd keep the 4 nights at the Masai Mara if it was me.
