Given the policy requiring the passenger to be a FF member and that flight has to be > 30 days away, cannot see that you will have any success - the system will have automatically processed the correct refund amount
Thanks for your reply. When I cancelled, I could not see what my refund was going to be prior to cancelling... or do you think I just missed it and did not see it? Strange to me that they would not show any sort of information on what kind of fees/penatly I would recieve given the complexity of airfares. I guess I was hoping if I called, someone could see I still had a ticket on the same flight, and that it was a mistake and only intended to switch payments. But like you said, the system is automatic. But given how antiquated the Qantas refund process is, I have serious doubts I would get anywhere with this request. Why it takes a full day to get an email saying they are processing a refund makes no sense; and the email has no information about said refund.
