I respect everyone's opinions and hearing their experiences, thanks.

I've had UA flights where the FAs did walk through the aisles several times an hour which pleasantly surprised me because, frankly, many times they don't. But sometimes they do. I've also had flights where I have had to go to the galley in the middle of the flight to get a sparkling water or something and cannot find an FA. But it's never long before I find someone and they always seem to be happy to take care of me. None of this bothers me. I don't expect to be waited on like SQ F where there is usually an FA hovering around watching passengers who are not asleep.

I totally get the comment by featheroleather on European flights. I have no idea what happens in the middle, particularly going east, because I want to get on the flight, eat if hungry, then get as much sleep as long as I can. No clue if FAs are walking the aisles or not. Going back I am usually exhausted and welcome the opportunity to sleep.

IME there is not a lack of professionalism or courtesy on the part of the UA FAs. I see more junior staff on the European routes so perhaps there it is an issue. But I have not run into it. YMMV
