The race to the bottom in the guise of offering customers "options" takes another step forward as Westjet has now formally introduced an "Ultrabasic" fare where you only get a "personal item" that must go under your seat (you can check bags for a fee), will be seated at the back of the plane and board last. Can't imagine it will take AC long to follow suit.
