Tuesday 4 June 2024

Fairly quiet day, but these are cancelled

BA314 CDG
BA394 BRU
BA964 HAM
BA1382 MAN

Giving 336 BA departures today out of 671 for LHR. Regulation has been extended into the evening due to a forecasted increase in wind strength.

Landing RWY: 27R
Airborne holding (mins): 9 peak
Departure RWY: 27L
TSAT delay average (mins): 0

Heathrow: EGLLTC 42/60 0520-1500z due demand.
Network: High delays into LIRP due radar failure; moderate into LGAV due capacity. Brest due capacity, LSZH due capacity and EHAM special event (NATA tiger meeting).

Weather: Westerlies all day. Moderate 3000ft winds c1700z so potential for regulation to be extended but will depend on traffic presentation.

BA207 was put down as OPEY after the issues caused with brake packs and multiple wheels/tyres after one burst during taxi out.

BA314 TECY
BA394 TECY

BA964 and BA1382 are both OPEY and this is due to them being cancelled to generate a spare airframe.
