Hi

Due to sudden flue I couldn't make the return leg of a restricted CE flight. Spoke to BA - they said ticket is non-changable so all I can do is buy another one. I have travel insurance plus Amex (will amex pick up the excess?) but was wondering if anyone has any advice for this sort of thing. It was one of those discounted CE off gatwick so I am not sure travel insurance would be happy with me buying a new expensive one if I don't find availability for when I am better.
