Anyways AA and Southern have an interline agreement so my baggage will go through fine. However, I was wondering if I'd be able to access the AA lounge in ORD as I have OW Sapphire status through Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

I have a feeling the answer is no because I'm connecting to a non OW flight, but I'd love to be wrong.
Admirals Clubs and Flagship Lounges allow access on arrival for non-AA/AS OWE and OWS, which is above and beyond the normal "departure only" requirement for oneworld flights. It doesn't matter who you're flying onward with, or even if you have an onward flight at all. I've done this many times myself as a BA OWE at the ORD lounges. Just show your arriving boarding pass. If using a mobile BP, I'd recommend taking a screenshot that shows your OWS status because sometimes the boarding pass will turn blue and remove your status information after arrival.
