FWIW. As a new Emerald member, my first reservation showed I needed to go to the counter at SEA. Customer service tried to update my reservation several times to skip the counter. They thought it worked but my 'updated' reservation still showed 'go to counter'. Last agent I had on the phone simply made a new reservation under my Emerald number and the app then showed 'Go directly to Emerald Aisle. Worked like a charm
Just finished my trip and could not be more pleased with the Emerald Aisle experience. Both pick up and drop off felt like a private concierge service. Now if national only had an airline...
