Just got instant approval for this card on Monday. No prior relationship with Wells Fargo. Excellent credit, but lots of credit cards (and many get closed after one year). Tried to create on-line account in hopes of somehow getting the card on google pay before I had the card, but no luck. Called to expedite and was told not possible. Asked how to create on-line account and was told I had to wait for the card. Agent told me card "should" arrive within 7 business days. When asked if that was actually happening, she admitted she didn't know.
Same for me. I've had an account before, but I closed it, it seems that they had an info from it, at least there was a phone number, which was different from what I gave them during an application process.
