I just re-booked 3 tickets to TYO to catch a significant ($800- per ticket) price drop. I couldn't do it online but, using the app, I didn't even have to change to a different flight, I just re-booked the exact same flights and applied the FFCs. Quick and easy. Something has changed since the last time I tried this.
I saw a $570 price drop for my ticket in premium economy to Taipei (was booked in A and R opened up). Was not able to rebook on the website or the app, but the 1K desk was able to do it with the help of a supervisor and a bit of a hold on the phone. Got a future flight credit while keeping my PNR and seat assignments. Had to re-apply my upgrade requests though.
