PLT, still getting upgraded

I just flew MIA-LAS in F and could not believe the crappy lunch! The meals in Steerage used to be better than what is now served in First Class. Just before the price of e-upgrades last increased, I bought loads of them. (Then the price went down a short time later.) If not for all the upgrades I still have from that purchase, I probably would never upgrade anymore.
I agree that the product is diluted in F on AA. However, it's still a better product for the small price I pay than what I could get on other airlines. I consistently send constructive complaints to AA to make sure my opinion is known. However, I'm already 4 for 4 on upgrades in '05, including IAD-MIA and MIA-IAD, which were always tough flights for me to upgrade as Gold.
