Its really annoying and pretty absurd that the issue with ecredits not appearing in your account is still ongoing. I've noticed that when I make changes to a flight that results in an ecredit or I use an ecredit and it has some remaining value, that it almost never appears in my account list of credits/certs. I have to manually track my credits and input them when I want to use later.
This has been reported by multiple other people on this site, which implies it is a widespread systemic issue. Delta is likely making millions off this from 'normal' flyers not being aware they have to manually track everything and that credits aren't appearing properly in their account.
Over the past 4-5 years I have kept a detailed spreadsheet of my ecredits and those of my family of 5. Only about 20% of the time does an ecredit ever show up in a DL Wallet.
