Perhaps not coincidentally, EK has just been announced as the latest to join IATA's Turbulence Aware Platform, which appears to be an automated form of "crowdsourcing" turbulence data from multiple aircraft.

Other airlines part of this platform include AF, NH, CI, DL, KE, LH, QR, LX, UA, and others....but not (yet) SQ:
