Airline flights numbered 1
Something possessed me to look up what flight 1 is for different airlines.
A few are below.
These flights appear to have gotten their number for several reasons:
- Flight length (most)
- Historical significance (WN?)
- Prestige (BA, AF)
I was wondering:
- Some of these flights don't seem obvious candidates to be flight 1. Any ideas why?
- Do any flight 1's have anything special to them (e.g. services)
- Who's flown the most flight 1's?
- Has anyone flown a flight 1 for its own sake? (besides BA 1, which people flew for its own sake, but not presumably because of its numbering)
